Ask anyone about wine and youâll hear the same thing over and over. Wine should be aged. The longer it sits in a cellar, the better it will be when you finally uncork it. As with many consensus statements, this one isnât really true.
The aging issue with wine is overstated. The first thing to understand is nearly half the wines produced in the world should not be aged. Specifically, white wines are usually not intended to be stuck in a cellar somewhere. They just go bad, although there are a few exceptions. Red wines, on the other hand, are more agreeable to aging. That being said, not even all reds should be aged.
So, is there a list of wines that should be aged and those that should not? Well, there are a huge number of wines, so any list will be woefully incomplete. Still, letâs have a stab at it. Wines that age well include:
* Red Bordeaux
* Cabernet Sauvignon
* Port Wines
* Rieslings from Germany
* Certain Reserve Chiantis from Tuscany
Of this group, the Bordeaux wines are by far the best wines to age. These are often considered celebration wines. In Europe, it wasnât that long ago that a proud papa would buy a Bordeaux red when his child was born and store it in the cellar to celebrate that childâs 21st birthday or some other momentous event.
It should be noted that there is a general misconception about storing wine. People tend to view it as a situation where one is storing wine for 20 years or what have you. While this is a good move, you should also be storing wine you might need if someone pops by at the spur of the moment. The specific wines depend on your personal taste, but having a red and white chilled is always a good move. Just make sure you keep track of how long the white is sitting there!
Storing wine has become a major fad for wine aficionados. You can buy stand alone storage units for a hundreds or many thousands of dollars. The question is whether this is really a good move. Only you, of course, can answer that!

After you have had something to drink and eat, then let it settle in your stomach before going to workout. Once the food has settled then go workout and get rid of the hangover.

Coming up with the winner of the title of funniest movie of 2009 was far easier than such a comparison has been in previous years. That’s not to say there was a lack of funny movies this year. Films like Zombieland, I Love You, Man and Bruno all had more than their fair share of laughs. However, none of these comedy films could hold a candle to The Hangover when it came to delivering the humor.Starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha The Hangover is a classic buddy movie about three friends (well two friends, and a soon-to-be brother-in-law) who take their buddy Doug to Vegas for one last bachelor blowout before he gets married. However, the fun gets a little out of control and the trio passes out and when they wake up they have no memory of what happened the night before. To make matters worse the groom-to-be is missing, and they have no idea what has happened to him.
As you can see by the general plot of the movie, Justin Bartha, who plays the groom, actually has very little screen time. Bradley Cooper from Wedding Crashers and Ed Helms of NBC’s The Office are both hilarious as nearly polar opposites who clash continually during the hunt for their missing friend. However, it is Zach Galifianakis, who plays Doug’s future brother-in-law, who really steals the show. Beyond stupid, Galifianakis’s character Alan is a constant annoyance to his fellow groomsmen throughout the film, constantly making bad decisions and asking ridiculous (though very amusing) questions the whole time.

People hiring a DJ in Hertfordshire will often raise an eyebrow when given a quote per hour for the event. Yet when you compare the work that goes into making a successful party, you will realize it’s more than just playing a couple of records and announcing the buffet is open.
With customers requiring a high quality DJ service, they are responsible for keeping the atmosphere tailored to the customers requirements while making sure everyone is entertained.
But what does the DJ have to consider:
1)The Event – With stricter regulations and legislation to keep to, the DJ must make sure they comply not only with there own insurance (yes professional DJ’s are insured with regards to there equipment and most have public liability insurance as well), but also the event venue’s regulations too. This is not an easy task, as most venue’s requirements will change accordingly.
2)The Equipment – DJ’s often will have light’s and smoke effects. With a lot of equipment and setting up to do, it can often take a DJ hours before he is ready to even think about playing records. The cost of maintaining and upgrading this equipment can often cost thousands of pounds as well as securing adequate transport for getting to venues.
3)The Music -With the ever changing faces of music the DJ’s collection will often have been accumulated over a number of years.
Most modern DJ’s are also entertainers as well. While they may not be pulling rabbits out of hats, there is a form of magic to keeping the right balance between the customer the DJ is playing too, and the right tempo and volume of music. For example a client celebrating their ruby anniversary is probably going to require a different style and temp of music then somebody celebrating their 21st birthday party.
The DJ will also have to cater for the level of involvement the client wishes them to have. Whether this is just playing music, taking requests or becoming an MC for the night.
DJ’s are often hired via word of mouth so it is vital that they are able to give 100% at every event. Also bear in mind that there some insurers will not allow there equipment to be left alone at anytime during the event, and the DJ suddenly becomes a super human being, able to raise people moods, stand on his feet for hours at a time, and take no bathroom trips. So the next time you feel your DJ’s quote is a little over the top, think of what he has to go through to make sure you have a memorable time.
