Drink shaped 21st BIRTHDAY CAKE question?
I’ve seen cute cakes shaped like martinis or other drinks. How do I make one? My friends 21st is coming up, and I want to make her a cool (alcohol associated) cake. But I wouldn’t even know where to start. Can anyone give me a link with pictures and/or directions? Or if you’ve ever made one, some pointers? Thanks!

If you’re 21 already [or somebody will get you some], you should make a rum cake! When you cook it it becomes non-alchoholic, it’s it’s tasty [especially the next day]. Just google a recipe.
Anywho, to just shape it like a drink, I don’t think it would be that hard. Just make a regular square cake, then [caaarefully] cut it into the shape you want. Then frost it really good. I bet you could even find a pan shaped like a drink, that’d be really easy :-]
Here’s a link to some drink shaped cakes, some of them have instructions with them.

And if all else fails, I’m sure a bakery could make you one. Then just say you did

To make it easiest on yourself i’d probably make a sheet cake- any flavor would work- then cut the shape of either a martini glass, maybe a beer can or stien, even a shot glass.. then u can use different colored frosting (which u can buy dyed or buy white and use food coloring to alter) to decorate accordingly! I’m sure once your creative juices start flowing this will be easier then your anticipating! Walk down the baking isle and look at decorations, i’m sure it’d inspire ya. U can use things like candy and fruit to decorate too!
