How do you tell a guy that you like him?
I’m not very confident in how I look. I have been told that I’m a good looking girl, but I just don’t see it in myself. That makes it hard for me to open up to guys and put myself out there. On that note, I like this guy and we began talking online thanks to a mutual friend and we have great conversations. We later met in person and joke around and have a good time. He has mentioned once that he doesn’t have good luck with girls. He has mentioned to my friend when she showed him my picture before we met, that I was “very pretty.” Recently, it was his 21st birthday and I was invited to his party. I got him a gift certificate to one of his favorite restraunts and he was very flattered by that saying all night that I “know the way to a man’s heart.” He then kept referring to my friend and I as very attractive girls. Should I tell him I like him? If so, how should I do it? I’m very shy to be say anything to his face. How should I do it so that if I get rejected it isn’t awkward?

Yes tell him. If rejection scares you either send him a private email or ring him.

I don’t know any better way to say this but rejection is always going to be awkward. You just have to go for it and tell him.
You can’t put it off any longer. If he is single, you still have a chance. Don’t let it pass you by. If you do, you could regret for the rest of your life.
I know from personal experience.
